Downloading Your Guide
The ACE Guide is a large file. Before downloading, make sure you have a solid internet connection (Wi-Fi is recommended). When you click the download link, a browser window will open — do not close this browser window until the download is completely finished. Closing it early will result in a partial, unusable file.
Important: Only click the download button once, then wait patiently for the download to complete. Each click uses one of your 10 available downloads. If you accidentally use all of your downloads, simply reply to your Shopify order confirmation email and request additional downloads.
Setup by Device
iPad / iPhone (ForeFlight)
The guide is designed to work in the ForeFlight Documents Library:
1. Follow the download link on a device with ForeFlight installed (your iPad or iPhone).
2. Once downloaded, tap the "Share With" icon.
3. In the share menu, select ForeFlight and choose 'Documents' as the import location.
ForeFlight Users — Please Note: Do not annotate the ACE Guide in ForeFlight. Due to the large file size, the annotation feature may cause ForeFlight to crash. If this happens, delete the guide from your ForeFlight device and re-import it using the steps above. If you need to annotate on your iPad, use the Goodreader App, which handles the document well. A fix for this is being worked on for future versions.

Laptop / Desktop
Use a dedicated PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat or PDF Xchange. Some links within the guide may not work when viewed directly in a web browser like Safari or Chrome.
Recommended Free PDF Reader: PDF-XChange Editor (Free Version)
Android Devices
Several PDF apps are available for Android. Xodo tends to work best with the ACE Guide. Adobe's Android app is not recommended for this file.

Free Updates
Regular updates will be provided to you at no additional cost, as long as you've purchased your copy through VSL Aviation. You'll receive an email when new versions are available.
